This is a quality costume, and it was $10 cheaper here than on any .com costume shop. With free shipping and no sales tax, it was $1 more than the super store costume that arrived with shredded seams in 5 places. those cheaper costumes are made with acetate. They do not baste the edges of the material. The material shreds. This costume is made of a thin stretchy velvet-like material. The sewing is of much better quality than the acetate costumes. I thre in some vampire fangs to get free Super Saver shipping. The only problem I have with that is it was a hybrid FedEx/USPS delivery service. FedEx did their part well. Then the costume sat at my local post office for more than two entire days before being put on a truck for delivery. We did not have the costume in time for the costume contest last night.
